Work With Maddy

I believe meaningful change begins when a person feels deeply understood — not just heard, but truly known. As a master’s level social work clinician and therapist, I am dedicated to helping individuals develop clarity, resilience, and a stronger sense of self so they can move toward the life they want to live.

Having grown up in a military family and served in the military myself, I bring both lived experience and clinical insight into the demands of service-oriented careers, including frequent transitions, work–life balance pressures, deployment cycles, and the challenge of maintaining connection and stability under sustained responsibility.

My clinical work focuses on helping individuals navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, relational distress, and identity adjustments with compassion, depth, and practical skill-building.

My therapeutic approach blends evidence-based modalities, including Internal Family Systems (IFS), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and faith-integrated counseling, and is tailored collaboratively to each client’s goals, strengths, values, and cultural context.

Drawing on both cognitive and experiential approaches, I support clients in developing emotional regulation, meaningful self-awareness, and resilient coping strategies that honor their whole identity — including service experience.

My work is grounded in empathy, respect, and the belief that healing happens when people are met with curiosity, honesty, and genuine understanding. I strive to create a space where clients can make sense of their experiences, build emotional strength, and develop practical tools for navigating life with greater intention and confidence.

Whether working through trauma, managing anxiety, strengthening relationships, or navigating major life transitions, I walk alongside clients as they clarify what matters most to them and take meaningful steps toward lasting change. I understand the courage it takes to seek support, and I am honored to partner with clients as they work toward becoming the person they want to be and building a life that reflects their values.
